(KNSI) – The Paramount Center for the Arts will take on a vibrant international feel for the fourth annual Journey Across the World event this week.
The cultural experience is a partnership between the city and St. Cloud State University through song, dance, and other lively performances. SCSU Associate Vice President for Global and Multicultural Engagement Shahzab Ahmad explained there are students representing 96 countries, and he wishes there was time to showcase them all. “It’s more of a highlight of some of the larger groups we have on campus. So, it’s going to be only a night with about 20 different cultural presentations.”
There are plans for a fashion show that will include more than 100 students from dozens of different countries. Ahmad believes the event has something for everyone. “This is a great opportunity for people of all different ages to come to the Paramount Center and really experience the culture from all over the world in one evening.”
Journey Across the World is Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud. Tickets are $6 each.
