(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Bloody Mary Crawl returns to downtown later this month.

Last year’s event was so successful as an estimated 3,000 people took part and many places ran out of their signature bloody mary mixes. White Horse General Manager Katy Copa is one of the organizers and tells KNSI News she couldn’t believe the support. “Last year it was just an idea because there was a small group of us that wanted to do it because we like bloody marys. And the turnout was insane. So we’re like, well, we have to keep it running.”

To make sure all locations have enough to go around, glasses will be six ounces at each stop. To help get a headcount and save drinkers some dough, the crawl has buttons for sale until April 24th. “They can get them at any of the participating locations. So, any of the 13 bars and any of the four retail spots. They’re $2. Cash only and it goes all to charity.”

The wearer gets a buck off each drink, and the proceeds from the buttons will go to the CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center. If you don’t buy a button ahead of time, you can still take part but won’t get the savings.

There is also a passport. If you stamp it at four bars and three retail locations, you will be entered to win a prize pack from Gray Duck Spirits.

The 2024 crawl is Sunday, April 28th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
