(KNSI) — Gas prices keep rising.
Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded has gone up about 20 cents a gallon over the past month. The national average now sits at $3.63.
In Minnesota, the average is $3.31, which is up 11 cents from last month. In St. Cloud, the average is $3.12, up eight cents from last month.
Experts cite refinery maintenance and growing unrest in the Middle East as potential reasons for the increase. They predict gas prices will get even higher as peak driving season starts and refineries switch to more expensive summer gasoline.
