St. Cloud Drug Raid Nets Thousands of Fentanyl Pills

(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant Wednesday on the 2000 block of 15th Street North in St. Cloud, finding thousands of fentanyl pills.

A press release says the group has been investigating the sale of M-Box 30 pills for months, which have been linked to overdose deaths in the area. In the most recent arrest, a 21-year-old man was taken to the Stearns County Jail for several potential charges.

Officers collected ammunition and about 4,200 pills from the apartment. The man arrested has a prior felony conviction and is not allowed to own guns or ammo. He is also looking at charges for a separate drug dealing case that occurred in the area.

The St. Cloud Police Department assisted the task force in making the arrest.
