ATV Crash Near Pierz Leaves Allegedly Intoxicated Driver Injured

(KNSI) – A man allegedly riding an ATV while intoxicated was rushed to the hospital after a crash.

Around 3:50 on Tuesday afternoon, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury accident a half mile west of Lastrup, near Pierz.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Dominick Herold was driving a
side-by-side eastbound in the ditch when it hit a road approach, causing it to roll over several times. The 21-year-old from Pierz was taken to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls with unknown injuries.

The sheriff’s office says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. This case is under investigation.
