(KNSI) – Winter’s return in Minnesota made it hard for drivers to navigate the streets.
The region had between five and eight inches of snowfall. From 5:00 p.m. on Thursday to 2:00 p.m. Friday, the Minnesota State Patrol responded to 261 crashes, 142 spinouts, and three jackknifed semis.
Twenty-nine of the accidents resulted in injury, with one serious.
Minnesota can expect more white stuff starting Sunday and continuing until Tuesday.
