(KNSI) – An Albany man has been charged with multiple counts for allegedly molesting two girls.
According to the criminal complaint, two girls from Fargo went to stay with Billy Jack Wolbeck from March 1st through the 3rd. When the two girls returned home, one of the victims told her mother that the 48-year-old man had touched her inappropriately. The second girl stated that Wolbeck had also touched her the weekend before.
Investigators interviewed the two girls, and Child A stated Wolbeck abused her on three occasions that weekend. She says the first was inside a camper, the second in Wolbeck’s truck and the third in his home. The victim says she was told to keep what happened a secret. When Child A told Child B what happened, child B stated the same kind of abuse happened to her the weekend before. Child B stated she was playing Nintendo Switch with Wolbeck when he started molesting her.
Both victims are under the age of 14.
Wolbeck made his first court appearance on Monday. He is charged with one count of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct. His next court date wasn’t immediately set.
