(KNSI) — Users of the Lake Wobegon trail are being asked to watch out for equipment and workers this week as tree trimming operations get underway.
According to the Stearns County Parks Department, starting Tuesday, March 12th, crews will be on the trail between milepost 95 in Albany and milepost 80 in St. Joseph through Thursday. Starting today, trimming will take place between Albany and Avon. Wednesday, trimming will be between Avon and St. John’s. On Thursday, the work will move between St. John’s and St. Joseph.
The sections of the trail will be closed while the equipment is there. Users are being told not to go around trail closed signs.
Everything will be back open after 4:00 p.m. each day.
