(KNSI) – St. Joseph is ending its winter parking restrictions early.
Parking will be allowed on the streets from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. through November 1st. St. Joe decided to end its restrictions almost a month early due to the area’s lack of snowpack and the fact that no major snowstorms are forecast between now and the end of the month. The winter rules usually remain in place until March 31st.
City administrators in Sartell, Sauk Rapids, St. Cloud and Waite Park all say their cities will keep their winter parking rules in place until the end of March.
The seasonal restrictions are enforced regardless of snowfall. Violators will be given a ticket and, in the event of a snow emergency, will be towed.
