St. Cloud Offering Tours of Water Treatment Facility

(KNSI) — The City of St. Cloud is offering local water treatment facility tours.

Tours are being offered to those who participate in the Adopt-a-Drain program.

Throughout March, anyone who adopts a new storm drain or current cleaners submit their cleaning record will be invited for a “unique and exclusive” tour at the updated facility. The tours will be scheduled for after April 15th.

Adopting a storm drain means keeping it clear of debris such as leaves, brush, sticks and garbage to prevent it from getting into waterways such as the Mississippi River or ruining habitat for fish, aquatic life and birds.
