(KNSI) — St. Cloud police say they have made a second arrest after a gunfight Saturday in a downtown parking lot.

According to a press release, officers from the St. Cloud Police Department, Community Response Team, and SWAT worked together to get the 17-year-old from St. Cloud into custody Thursday. He was tracked down and located in the 1200 block of East Division Street.

The teen was booked into the Stearns County jail, where he is awaiting charges of reckless discharge of a firearm, illegal gun possession and second degree assault.

Just before 5:00 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired at a parking lot in the 1300 block of West St. Germain Street. When they arrived, everyone had fled the scene, and no victims were found. Investigators say they believe a person got out of a car and started walking toward someone in the lot, and the two immediately began exchanging gunfire. The incident did not appear to be random.

Another person, identified as 18-year-old Jatrell Robert Antonio Mitchell, also from St. Cloud, was tracked down and arrested Tuesday near Minneapolis. He was also booked into the Stearns County jail and is facing two gun charges.
