(KNSI) – A St. Cloud middle school teacher is top of her class.
Autumn Heitzman was named the Minnesota Council for Social Studies 2024 Teacher of the Year. The 7th-grade history instructor works at South Junior High. She is in her sixth year.
Heitzman is among the four educators the MCSS will honor at its annual awards dinner on Sunday. Three K-12 teachers are recognized as teachers of the year, and one is given a lifetime achievement award.
