(KNSI) – GREAT Theatre is living up to its name from start to finish with the 2024-25 lineup.
Revealed at a special event on Monday, next season’s shows include the Tony Award-winning “Into The Woods,” a newer favorite in “Waitress,” and the timeless “Wizard of Oz.” From fairy tales to pie baking, ruby slippers, winged monkeys, and the Yellow Brick Road, the tentpole shows have something for everyone. And when the calendar turns to 2025, get ready to kick spring off with one of the brightest productions possible in “Mary Poppins.”
Some other highlights include a trip to the Hundred Acre Wood for the annual youth artist project show with “Winnie The Pooh,” plus “All Shook Up,” a jukebox musical featuring the hits of the one and only Elvis. That’s followed by the dramatic comedy “Steel Magnolias,” about women at a salon in small-town Louisiana navigating the drama of everyday life. The final production takes you back to ancient Greece and the emotional love story of Orpheus and Eurydice.
