(KNSI) – CentraCare Foundation has a new second in command.

The nonprofit introduced Holly Gulden as its new vice president on Monday. Gulden has experience in the highest ranks of charities tied to healthcare. Her last post was down in New Orleans, Louisiana, as interim vice president for major gifts and associate vice president for advancement and executive director of development, medicine at Tulane University. She has also worked at the University of Minnesota.

CentraCare Foundation says Gulden began her job on January 15th. She has begun to meet with stakeholders and gather a list of fundraising priorities in all communities with a CentraCare facility. One of her first major campaigns will be getting the new medical school in St. Cloud off the ground. CentraCare has promised to commit $50 million to it.

Gulden graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona and is excited to be back home. She is married with four sons. CentraCare says Gulden’s hobbies include finding new restaurants and local breweries.
