(KNSI) – Theatre fans and thespians alike will pack into Back Shed Brewing in Waite Park tonight as the lineup for next season’s Great River Educational Arts Theatre performances is revealed.
The party is at 7:00, and all eight shows will be announced. The plays are traditionally performed at the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud or the GREAT’s Learning Lab in Waite Park. A few have been produced outside at The Ledge Amphitheatre.
The event is also a fundraiser for the nonprofit. Attendees will have a chance to bid on silent auction items, put money in a donation card, and buy raffle tickets. According to GREAT, the money helps bridge the gap between ticket sales and the cost of producing the shows. The evening will be emceed by local comedian Jason Schommer.
