(KNSI) – Forgo the Valentine’s chocolates for your Caterpillar boots and pick a flower out in the wild rather than from a dinner table.
The 2024 Stearns Nordic Ski Sampler ends on Thursday. There’s not enough snow to strap on the skis, but a hike is nearly as nice. Visit Clearwater’s Warner Lake County Park, Rice’s Mississippi River County Park, St. Joseph’s Kraemer Lake-Wildwood County Park, and Waite Park’s Quarry Park, do a romantic hike with your sweetie, and you will soon stack up entries in the prize drawing.
At stake are gift cards to Fitzharris Ski and Sport or Revolution Cycle and Ski, Quarry Park annual passes, or Wildwood Ranch syrup. The winners will be announced on the 20th. A bonus entry comes when you tour all four or join the Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota.
