(KNSI) — The United Way of Central Minnesota says a local sporting goods store is to thank for a recent large donation.
Scheels at the Crossroads Center Mall in Waite Park forked over $75,000 to help out the United Way.
Their service area covers Benton, Meeker, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright Counties. They lend a helping hand to countless local residents with education, finances and leading healthier lives.
In a thank you message on its Facebook page, the United Way of Central Minnesota wanted to extend a “massive thank you” to Scheels, adding, “Together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of those in need. Your kindness will ripple through our community, creating lasting change and your dedication is truly inspiring!”
