SCR Inc. Powers Up Building Automation with MN Controls Solutions Acquisition

(KNSI) — St. Cloud based SCR, Inc. announced its upcoming acquisition of a company that develops and installs software for building control management systems.

SCR says it will acquire MN Controls Solutions and add Honeywell to its partner portfolio to boost its automation capabilities.

SCR began in 1957 as St. Cloud Refrigeration providing appliance sales and repair, maintenance for bulk milk coolers and soda fountains, mechanical refrigeration, and more. Today, SCR provides heating, ventilation, and cooling capabilities with advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technology, a sheet metal shop for custom fabrication, and additional service offerings with building and controls automation and comprehensive food service capabilities.
