(KNSI) — Thanks to generous donations, dozens of St. Cloud area kids will stay cozy and warm outside this season.
During the annual winter coat giveaway, the St. Cloud Community Outpost handed out nearly 300 coats to kids and families. Officials say about 200 of them came from St.Cloud Subaru and the rest from the Whitney Senior Center and the City of Saint Cloud. The coats were given away last week at the St. Cloud Police Department.
Along with the coats, hand knit hats were given out, which were made by Brenda Overboe and her mom.
