(KNSI) – St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis is preparing to hold a marathon town hall meeting.
The 24-hour session will be held on Saturday, February 24th, starting at midnight. Kleis explained in his weekly address why he was doing this. “Sometimes people work different times and different hours. So I want to have an opportunity. So if you ever work a late shift or just get up in the middle of the night and want to want to talk about city issues, come on to city hall.”
Anybody can bring up any city topic they want to discuss.
Kleis has held over 970 town hall meetings since he became mayor in 2006. This will be the second 24-hour meeting he has held and the first in several years.
