(KNSI) – Two of the most unique female voices in music will take the stage in Waite Park this summer at The Ledge Amphitheater.

You won’t want to be the only one who misses out on Jewel and Melissa Etheridge on August 1st. There’s no need to walk across the fire or drown in your desire to get to the show. A presale is Thursday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Use code SUMMER24.

The public gets its chance on Friday, starting at 10:00 a.m., either at The Ledge winter box office inside the Waite Park Public Works Building or online. You were meant to see this show!

Jewel will be doing songs from her most recent album, Freewheelin Woman, plus all the classics you remember when she took the world by storm with two multi-platinum albums in the 1990s. She has performed at the championships of the NBA and NFL, as well as for the Pope and the president.

Melissa Etheridge first made a name for herself in the late-80’s but it was the album, Yes I Am, in 1993 that got her a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Performance. She found the top of the charts with “Come To My Window” and others.
