(KNSI) – Disc golfers in central Minnesota braved frigid conditions over the weekend to help feed families in need.
Saturday’s 31st annual St. Cloud Ice Bowl Fundraiser to Fight Hunger raised over $6,000. Along with the entrance fees were 35 items in a silent auction helping raise money for the St. Joseph Community Food Shelf.
Ninty five disc golfers were bundled up at Millstream Park to put up with windchills of 25 below zero. KNSI News was told by organizers, luckly, no one got frostbite.
