(KNSI) – A quiet Sartell neighborhood was disturbed by an explosion on Sunday night.
Police were called around 7:30 to the 500 block of 13th Avenue North and discovered a mailbox had been blown up. No one was injured. Authorities say it’s an isolated incident. Police tell KNSI News that the type of explosive used is under investigation.
Officials ask anyone in the area to check their video surveillance or Ring doorbell camera footage for anything that could help. Damaging or tampering with a mailbox is a federal crime.
