(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University announced two initiatives that will help it reach more students in the Twin Cities and around the world.
The school is now offering three accelerated online degrees in business, engineering, and nursing. The programs are designed to meet the needs and schedules of working adults. Students have until February 26th to apply for classes. The courses will start on March 10th.
If one of those three courses isn’t up your alley, you may want a career in MedTech. The program has caught the eye of the Biden Administration.
A new federal recognition will help grow SCSU’s Plymouth campus. The U.S. Department of Commerce has selected the Minnesota MedTech 3.0 proposal as one of its inaugural Tech Hubs. Graduate programs are offered in Applied Clinical Research, Medical Technology Quality and Regulatory Affairs & Services. With over 130 MedTech companies in Plymouth alone, this comprehensive network has emerged as a leader in Minnesota.
Applied Clinical Research Program Director Dr. Will Collis-Prather says, “What’s attractive about our programs is students can develop their technical and professional skills and go back to employers more educated and prepared to contribute to the development of medical technology therapies. We are simulating the work they will eventually do in the workplace.”
Students see a nearly 100% placement rate within one year of graduation.
