(KNSI) — An investigation is underway after an explosion inside the evidence room at the Willmar Law Enforcement Center.
Firefighters were called to the LEC around 12:30 Thursday morning after a white powdery substance reportedly caused the explosion. The origin of the substance and how many people are hurt is unclear.
At least one police officer was taken to the hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
