(KNSI) — Two people are recovering after they were injured in an apartment fire in St. Cloud Monday morning.
The St. Cloud Fire Department was called to the complex on the 1400 block of 12th Avenue North around 10:00. They found a working fire on the second floor of the building, which was searched and evacuated.
The blaze was contained to two apartments, which were deemed uninhabitable by the St. Cloud Health Department and the Fire Marshal. The rest of the residents were allowed back in several hours later.
St. Cloud Metro Bus brought in vehicles to keep people out of the cold and snow.
The cause is still under investigation.
