(KNSI) — The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man called police Thursday morning to say he shot his wife.
Police responded to the home in Dassel Township around 10:00, and when they arrived, they found the woman dead and their two children, who were at home at the time of the murder, unhurt. The man was taken into custody and is awaiting formal charges.
The identities of the victim and the suspect are not being released at this time as the investigation continues. The sheriff’s office says there is no threat to the public.
