(KNSI) – Slick conditions on Interstate 94 caused an accident Friday morning, injuring a man from Albany.

The 23-year-old was taken to CentraCare for non-life-threatening injuries that occurred during the single-vehicle crash. According to a Current Incident Report from the Minnesota State Patrol, he was driving his 2008 Toyota Camry east near Monticello when it slid off the road into the median.

The Camry rolled over the tension cable barrier and finally stopped in the expressway’s westbound lanes. The crash happened just after 9:00.

CentraCare Ambulance, the Monticello Fire Department, and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
