Man Critically Injured Wednesday in Western Stearns County Crash

(KNSI) – A man is gravely hurt in a two-vehicle crash in western Stearns County at about 6:45 Wednesday morning.

A Current Incident Report from the Minnesota State Patrol says a 2012 Chevy Malibu driven by Kyle Michael Lieser collided with a 2014 Dodge Durango at the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road 22. Lieser is 33 years old and lives in nearby Sauk Centre. He was not wearing a seat belt. His injuries are considered life-threatening. He has been taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.

A 51-year-old woman from Brooten was driving the SUV. She was moved to Sauk Centre Hospital with non-critical injuries.

The accident occurred in Getty Township.
