(KNSI) – KNSI Radio is raising money to combat a disease robbing people of the memories that define them.
The Alzheimer’s Association has teamed up with the station to present The Longest Day: KNSI ALZ Fighters radiothon. The event is Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on AM 1450 and FM 99.3 KNSI.
KNSI’s Bob Hughes will kick off the fundraiser, followed by Dan “The Ox” Ochsner. During the broadcast, KNSI will share stories of families and friends affected by Alzheimer’s. The station aims to raise $10,000 for the Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter to support local classes, support groups and advance research.
