(KNSI) – It is sure to be a merry holiday season at the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud, with lots of mirth and music planned for December.
The fun starts on the 12th with Jukebox Saturday Night. It’s actually a Tuesday afternoon, but you’re invited to a celebration of the swing era. Thursday, the 14th, is another big band act with Shaun Johnson.
Enjoy an enchanted country Christmas with Grand Ole Opry member Lorrie Morgan on Saturday, the 16th. Lorie Line follows the next afternoon at 3:00. Line encourages the audience to gather round her grand piano. Other concerts include the George Mauer Group on the 18th and five performances of the Rock n’ Roll Xmas Spectacular.
The holiday fun continues after Santa stops by. On December 27th and 28th, the Church Basement Ladies are back. Take a trip to 1959 and laugh along as the Sunday School Christmas program tries to get off the ground. The ladies must save the day in “Away in the Basement.”
Ring in the new year with Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos. It’s a central Minnesota tradition. Times Square can have the ball drop. We are more into a high-energy mix of comedy, music, and the chance to clap along.
