(KNSI) — An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in a Brooten alley on Thanksgiving day.
According to police, the body of 58-year-old Brian William Brockopp was discovered east of Western Avenue South at about 1:20 Thursday afternoon. He was taken to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, and preliminary autopsy reports did not disclose anything suspicious about the death.
Police Chief Casey Janksy says there is no threat to the public.
