(KNSI) – When the moon hits your skis like a flirtatious tease, that’s amore.
The date has been set for what would surely be Dean Martin’s favorite event on the central Minnesota calendar, the 2024 Moonlight Ski. Head to Quarry Park in Waite Park on the first Friday of the year. The Nordic Ski Club of Central Minnesota and Stearns County Parks are ready to welcome everyone for outdoor fun from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on January 5th.
Parking will be free, and you’ll have a chance to stretch your legs on 4.2 miles of scenic lighted trails. It is sure to give you a new perspective on one of the area’s favorite outdoor destinations.
Multiple bonfires will be lit throughout the park, and you’ll have a chance to enjoy cookies, hot drinks, and s’mores.
The parks department says additional information on the ski will be available soon.
