(KNSI) – A St. Cloud-based website and email hosting company says it has experienced a catastrophic system failure.
A statement from Cloudnet to KNSI News says they have not closed their doors but are having internet server failures and outages. The issue also took out the company’s IP phone system. The company went dark on Tuesday, November 14th.
Management stresses that no data has been lost, and they are working on fixing the problem as soon as possible. There is no estimated time for when service will be restored.
The outage has affected nearly 200 websites and thousands of emails.
A company spokesman says websites and emails for hosted domains are coming back online as sites are restored. They say when customers’ email settings are back and running, they must update their accounts.
Cloudnet has added progress updates to its website’s announcements page.
