(KNSI) – Get involved with grassroots government by applying your skills and experience at the county level.
Stearns County is asking residents interested in being local leaders to apply for numerous openings across various boards, committees, or task forces. They include agriculture, corrections, development, economic development, human services, library, mental health, parks, public health, and zoning.
Serving lets everyday people give input on county issues important to them. Per diems and mileage are offered to members on most committees.
The application deadline is Sunday, November 26. New members would be seated in January of 2024. For a list of the open spots, click here.
