Paramount Theatre Features Crowded November Schedule

(KNSI) — This fall is set to be a treat for the eyes and the ears at the Paramount Center for the Arts.

Little Women wraps up this weekend on November 5th, then get ready to put on your finest fascinator on November 7th for the St. Cloud Municipal Band’s fall concert, “A British Extravaganza.” The production will feature British composers and music inspired by the English countryside. The show is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at $12 for adults, plus processing fees. Students get in for $5. Kids get in free.

Simon and Garfunkle’s unmistakable harmonies and soaring vocals will come to the Paramount stage on November 10th. Bridge Over Troubled Water with Collective Unconscious is a complete performance of the duo’s legendary album of the same name from 1970. The title track, of course, will be performed, along with other favorites like Cecilia, The Boxer and more. Show time is 7:30. Tickets start at $35 plus processing fees.

The Nutcracker Ballet, presented by Stroia Dance Studios, will delight audiences of all ages to kick off the holiday season. Herr Drosselmeyer, the Nutcracker doll, Clara Stahlbaum, the Queen Mouse, and her evil band of mice all travel to the wonderful Land of Sweets on November 16th, 17th and 18th at 7:00 p.m. It all culminates with the dance of the iconic Sugar Plum Fairy. Tickets start at $18 for adults and $14 for those 12 and under. Group discounts are also available.

That performance takes you into the GREAT Theater’s local staging of Disney’s Beauty & The Beast. Be their guest from November 25th through December 10th. It tells the story of Belle stumbling upon a secluded castle and being taken prisoner by its only resident – a beast. The gang is all there as Mrs. Potts, Chip, and Lumière join Gaston, Maurice, Cogsworth and the rest. Tickets for adults start at $38, and students start at $28 plus processing fees.
