(KNSI) – The Downtown Art Crawl will liven up two dozen different St. Cloud businesses along the West St. Germain corridor on Friday afternoon.

Committee Chairman Katy Copa says just about everyone is getting involved. “Well, we have 24 venues this time around, which is awesome. And it’s basically most of the downtown restaurants and boutiques.”

The event runs from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Copa says much of the art on display is available for purchase. If you are in the area, you will see black signs hanging in storefront windows. A list of participating businesses can also be found here.

Copa says there is no theme, but care was taken to pair artists with the right location to highlight their work. “Usually, the places kind of pick somebody that works with their theme, I guess, inside each venue.”

She is thankful for the great weather forecast. Sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures are expected when the event starts. In true Minnesota fashion, we’re only a few days away from potential snow, so Friday’s September-like conditions will be appreciated.
