Get Ready for Halloween with Trunk-or-Treat Events and More in St. Cloud

(KNSI) – There are plenty of chances for kids to wear their costumes and fill their Halloween buckets with candy at a bevy of trunk-or-treat events.

Many family fun-filled festivities occur the weekend before kids take to the streets on October 31st.

On Friday, October 27th, Hope Covenant Church is celebrating its 7th annual Pumpkin Mania from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be something for the whole family, including barrel train rides, candy, games, hot cocoa, a bounce house and more.

On Saturday, October 28th, kids can trick-or-treat in downtown St. Cloud from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Holy Cross Lutheran Church is dishing out candy in its parking lot from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. At the same time, Shepard of the Pines Lutheran Church in Rice is holding its annual trunk or treat, complete with hayrides, campfire s’mores and hot chocolate. Granite City Motor Park will welcome some big rigs for its 4th annual Touch a Truck starting at 2:00 p.m.

On Sunday, October 29th, Fleet Farm in Waite Park hosts trunk or treaters from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Also that day, Abounding Joy Lutheran Church is handing out treats from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Monday, October 30th, Gilleland Chevrolet is holding a drive-thru trunk or treat from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Miller Auto Plaza is also filling buckets during its 4th annual drive-thru event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Kiddos in costumes can get treats at five stations. Tenants at the Talamore in St. Cloud will hold their trunk or treat spooktacular from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Senior residents are ready to greet kids with plenty of treats.

On Halloween, Tuesday, October 31st, Grace United Methodist Church in St. Cloud will fill candy bags for its annual trunk or treat from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Sauk Rapids police, fire departments, and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a trunk or treat from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The weekend also includes the 2023 Kids and Parents Expo from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Little ones can dress up and trick or treat, play in bounce houses, and enjoy laser tag, art, and spooky surprises. Kids 12 and under are Free, and adults are $10. Tickets are sold at the door on the day of the event.
