Waite Park Family Fun Fest Seeks New President

(KNSI) — The search is on for a new Waite Park Family Fun Fest president after the current one stepped down.

According to the festival’s Facebook page, without a new president in place by the end of October, the event will not continue.

The president would oversee the planning and execution of the event by working with other committee members to promote Family Fun Fest, lock in sponsors and donations, book vendors and entertainment, and be the main spokesperson for the committee. They also coordinate and lead committee meetings.

The five day event takes place in June and features a slew of activities, including the big parade.

Anyone interested in stepping up to volunteer is urged to contact the committee by emailing waiteparkfff@gmail.com or 320-229-3683.
