(KNSI) — A man is dead after a crash in Palmer Township Thursday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol’s preliminary crash report says a 29-year-old man from Ogilvie was behind the wheel of a semi driving south on Highway 25 when it collided in the intersection of Sherburne County Road 16 with an eastbound SUV. That driver is identified as 77-year-old Daniel Riordan of Cushing.
Riordan was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was hurt and taken to CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed while the state patrol reconstructed the crash. All lanes were back open a few hours later.
