(KNSI) – The Minnesota State System is putting admissions fees on double secret probation for the month of October.
The system comprises seven universities and 26 colleges, including St. Cloud State and St. Cloud Technical and Community College. With the waived fees on admission applications, it is the perfect time to plan a campus visit, learn more about scholarship opportunities, and lock in your rate during a tuition freeze scheduled to last through spring 2025.
If you plan to start on campus next fall, another thing to consider is the North Star Promise Scholarship, which applies to students from families with incomes under $80,000. The measure was passed during the last legislative session in St. Paul.
St. Cloud State University will hold its annual open house for future students in late October. Discover Red and Black is set for the 19th through the 21st. Some of the highlights are an introduction to the school and a campus tour with student ambassadors where you can explore academic buildings, labs, residence halls and recreational facilities.
An informational fair follows to showcase the wide range of academic degrees offered and student services options.
