Two Honored for Gregory Ulrich Prosecution

(KNSI) — Wright County Attorney Brian Lutes and Chief Deputy Matt Treichler are being recognized for a presentation they gave about the prosecution of Gregory Ulrich.

He was found guilty of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison last year for a mass shooting at the Allina Health clinic in Buffalo on February 9, 2021. One person was killed, and four others were seriously injured, including one person who was shot six times.

The Buffalo Police Department, Wright County, and the organization Buffalo Strong honored the two for the investigation and prosecution of the case following a presentation about the case at the Criminal Justice Mental Health Summit.
