(KNSI) — The City of St. Cloud is taking public comment regarding its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.
City officials say the plan is important to keeping area waterways clean and pollution-free.
It’s part of the City’s Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer System permit. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency regulates the permit and defines the Stormwater Division’s Best Management Practices. Those practices include public education and outreach, public participation, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site runoff control, post-construction stormwater management, pollution prevention and good housekeeping.
