(KNSI) – Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity has selected its new executive director.
Chad Bouley is coming to the area after serving as the chief real estate officer for the Twin Cities Habitat chapter. Bouley hopes to bring excitement and creativity to build a new era for the local nonprofit.
He says he has much to learn but a great group to lean on. Bouley is stressing meeting people served in the past by the central Minnesota organization, community leaders, faith leaders, donors, and educators for advice and feedback as he lays the groundwork for his tenure as executive director.
Bouley is familiar with Sherburne County. Bouley and his wife Lynda live in Zimmerman with seven children. Volunteering is a way of life for Chad and his family. He says, “With seven kids, I’ve spent a lot of years coaching youth sports. Football alone since 2011, including three years coaching on the Zimmerman High School varsity team.”
Bouley promises to take that spirit of volunteerism and energy and apply it to Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity.
CMHFH Board Chairman Todd Zaun praised Bouley in a press release. “Beyond his breadth of knowledge and experiences in affordable homeownership, it’s clear he brings a servant leadership style that resembles the community he will serve.”
The prior executive director, Chad Johnson, is now serving in the same role at Catholic Charities.
