(KNSI) – The other pop superstar is coming to Minnesota.

Olivia Rodrigo just released her second album, “Guts,” and her legion of fans will be able to hear it in person on March 15th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Rodrigo burst onto the scene with the hit single “Driver’s License” and a massively popular debut album that was received well by listeners and critics alike.

Rodrigo was determined to avoid the sophomore slump, taking about two-and-a-half years to put “Guts” together. The long delay helped build anticipation for the former Disney Channel star. “Guts” will open in the top spot on the U.S. charts.

Rodrigo is selling tickets to her tour through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan program. In an effort to bypass scalpers, it requires fans to register beforehand for a chance to get into a portal to get tickets at a later date. The registration period ends on Sunday night at 9:00.

The program is the same one used by Taylor Swift for her Eras Tour that caused a firestorm among fans and even Congressional hearings. Rodrigo is playing arenas rather than stadiums, and the shortage issues could crop up with her Minnesota stop. No prices have been announced.
