Banquet Frozen Chicken Strips Meal Under Recall

(KNSI) — ConAgra is recalling Banquet brand frozen chicken strips entrees as they may contain pieces of plastic.

Approximately 245,000 pounds of the product were shipped to retailers nationwide and sold online. The products subject to recall bear the establishment number “EST. P-9” printed on the side of the carton. It affects 8.9 ounce cartons with best if used by December 11th, 2024, January 1st, 2025 or January 7th, 2025 and lot numbers 5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820, also located on the side of the carton.

At least one person was injured.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Inspection Service says it is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
