(KNSI) — With school bells starting to ring across Minnesota and many students receiving devices from districts, there is help available for families to pay their internet bills.
The FCC has an Affordable Connectivity Program, which provides a discount of up to $30 a month for service and a qualifying device discount of up to $100 a month.
Households are eligible for the ACP if the household income is 200% or less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines, if a parent or anyone in the home participates in certain assistance programs, or receives a Lifeline benefit.
