(KNSI) – A St. Cloud State University graduate was the anthem singer at Saturday’s Vikings preseason game, and she brought the house down, both in person and online.
Paige Jaeger received a degree in 2020 and is now a technical director at U.S. Bank. The Vikings released a video on TikTok and Instagram showing Jaeger belting out the Star-Spangled Banner and then rushing back to the control room to help ensure a seamless gameday experience for those in attendance.
On-field security and her colleagues are seen telling Jaeger about the incredible job she did and cheering her on. She says in the video that she had already forgotten what it felt like to be on the field singing. You would never know there were nerves involved from how she sounded, though.
A social media post from the university says Jaeger is a former station manager at UTVS, the school’s television station. She also acted as director for Husky Productions. You can see the video of her big day below.
