Zimmerman 3, Apollo 0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-14): Haley Jacobson was the team’s lead attacker and was active along the back row. She paced the team in digs (12) and kills (4). Hailey Bingel added two kills and five assists.

Albany Earlybird Tournament: Overall results saw ROCORI, Albany, and Sauk Centre finish first, second, and third at the varsity level. Cathedral landed in second place in the second-place pool, or 5th out of nine.

ROCORI was 4-0 in the tournament for a great start to the season. Cathedral and Albany play in conference action on Tuesday.

Boys Soccer

Sauk Rapids-Rice 5, East Grand Forks 1: Sam Olscheid scored twice for the Storm on just three shots.

Sartell 2, Bemidji 1: Ben Jaenish netted the tying goal unassisted, then found Baylor Stebbins with the dish at 25:59 to help the Sabres cut down the Lumberjacks.

Cathedral 5, Duluth Marshall 0: The Crusaders dominated from the start with four goals in the first half. Goalkeeper Noah Henderson only had to make two saves to record the shutout.
