(KNSI) – Car burglars target residents in Sartell with aggressive smash-and-grab tactics.
Officers say they are still seeing a high number of vehicle break-ins around the area, and more than locking your doors is needed. The perpetrators break windows out, grab valuables, and get away quickly.
The thefts are happening in broad daylight as well as in the evening hours.
Police ask people to take their valuables out of their vehicles and keep them out of sight when leaving their cars parked. In June, five vehicles were hit at Pine Cone Central Park.
